About 20 young men attended an enquiry day at the seminary last Saturday. The occasion provided an opportunity to reflect on a possible call to the priesthood.

Holy Week and Easter fires up first-year seminarians
First-year Melbourne seminarian, Gerard Martin, says that this year’s Holy Week and Easter celebrations at St Patrick’s Cathedral were a “beautiful and unforgettable experience.” While the rest of the seminary were in parishes at this time, the first-years remained at the seminary to serve the ceremonies at the Cathedral. Gerard reflects on the experience.

A formal farewell for former Vice-Rector, Fr Cameron Forbes, was held last Wednesday, April 21, at the seminary’s community dinner after it had been postponed at the end of last year. Rector, Fr Denis Stanley, offered a toast to Fr Cameron, who is now Parish Priest of Mentone, on behalf of all staff and students.
