One of the highlights of the seminary year is when we welcome our first-year students.

In a happy coincidence, the first full day of seminary for the second to sixth year students coincided with the Memorial Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes. This feast has special significance for the staff and students of Corpus Christi College because our seminary grounds in Carlton contain a grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes.

On Saturday 19, November 2022, the Archdiocese of Melbourne welcomed three new priests (Fr Vinh Do, Fr An Le and Fr Huy Nguyen) and three new deacons (Rev. Tom Christie, Rev. Peter Nguyen and Rev. Tien Tran).

On Saturday 15, October 2022, Diocese of Sale welcomed a new priest, Fr Mark Hughes.

The Bequest is for the purpose of an Annual Lecture to facilitate the education of seminarians in ecumenical knowledge, understanding and thinking.

This year’s speaker is Rev. Ian Smith (Victorian Council of Churches CEO 2013-2021).
