Today five young men at Corpus Christi College in Carlton were admitted to Candidacy for Holy Orders.
Jude Johnson, Simeon Anthony and Jude Ezeme of the Melbourne Archdiocese, as well as Steven Smith and Chathura Silva of the Hobart Archdiocese were admitted to Candidacy at Sunday Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral in East Melbourne.
The ceremony was celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop of Melbourne, Peter Elliott.
The occasion was supported by parishioners of St Patrick’s Cathedral, friends and family of the candidates, as well as the seminary community.
