Corpus Christi College students Nathan Rawlins, Trac Nguyen and Andrew Choi were ordained to the Diaconate at St Patrick’s Cathedral in East Melbourne on Saturday, September 8.
Nathan, Trac and Andrew were ordained to the diaconate by the Archbishop of Melbourne, Peter Comensoli.
Auxiliary Bishops, Terry Curtin, Mark Edwards and Peter Elliott were among those in attendance. The Master of Catholic Theological College, Fr Shane MacKinlay, the Rector of Corpus Christi College, Fr Denis Stanley and seminary staff, as well as priests and deacons of the Melbourne Archdiocese and beyond were also in attendance at the ordination Mass.
Family friends of Nathan, Trac and Andrew from across Australia and overseas were also in attendance, as well as the Catholic Vietnamese and Korean communities of Melbourne.
At the ceremony Royden D’Souza was also ordained to the permanent diaconate.
