Fourth-year seminarians, Andrew Kwiatkowski and Tom Christie, have been accepted as candidates for the priesthood in the Melbourne Archdiocese.
Andrew and Tom were admitted to candidacy during morning Mass celebrated by Archbishop of Melbourne, Denis Hart, on Thursday, April 12, in the seminary chapel.
The pair are currently completing their parish pastoral placements and returned to Corpus Christi College for the morning Mass to celebrate the special occasion with their brother seminarians and seminary staff. Andrew is undertaking his parish work in Mill Park, while Tom is working at Ferntree Gully.
In July this year Andrew and Tom will move to Rome to complete their studies for the priesthood, before returning to the Melbourne Archdiocese to serve as priests.
